Heartless

It is a story of a two friends who are refugees from a civil war. Somewhere far from the harsh world they've found a peaceful place. Pieces of leaves and branches stand as their shelter.. Although all the basic needs of the girl are anywhere can be found, still she couldn't escaped death.

Resting her head on his lap, wishing she could at least stay for longer, Although it felt cold.. she stayed. Because she knew someone is there to keep her safe.

All that he knows was keep the girl safe.. protect her at any cost. He would always do anything to keep that promise.. even giving his own heart. Unfortunately she can't have it.

This is my entry for the IMFX Monthly Challenge "The Gift", I'm really glad that Master
